The Nuclear Industry Association (NIA) is the trade association and representative voice of Britain's civil nuclear industry. It represents more than 270 companies and some 59,000 UK nuclear workers. The NIA supports the commercial interests of its member as part of a diverse energy mix for the UK including renewables, clean coal and gas, with nuclear at the heart of a low-carbon future.

University of Cambridge - New MPhil webpage launched

Following on from our news update on Monday 8th November, SC@nuclear is pleased to announce the launch of a dedicated webpage for the new MPhil in Nuclear Energy at the University of Cambridge.

As part of the Cambridge Nuclear Energy Centre, the MPhil in Nuclear Energy was launched in November 2010 and will run each year from October 2011. This is a one year full time masters for engineers and scientists wishing to make a difference to climate change in the UK and around the world by developing nuclear power.

By combining nuclear technology with nuclear policy and business, the course is made highly relevant for the challenge of 21st century energy needs.
