ASME and GSE Systems Announce Joint Programme for Nuclear Power Plant Construction, Codes, Standards and Operations

ASME in conjunction with GSE Systems Ltd will be running a programme in March 2012 in Glasgow related to new build.

There are two programmes to choose from with a discount for attending both as detailed on the ASME website.  You can register on line, with early bookings receiving a discount.

This is an excellent opportunity to hear first-hand from ASME the appropriate codes and standards that apply in advanced nuclear design as well as an introduction to power operations in GSE’s unique $4m simulator suite at the University of Strathclyde.  Places are limited for this part of the programme so early booking is recommended. This programme will be ideal for graduates and engineers moving into the new build arena from other areas of nuclear or indeed different engineering sectors.
